To make a difference to the lives of people with cancer and their families.
Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. Research to eliminate or decrease the unbearable pain to family and sufferers of brain cancer is very close to my heart. Recently I have learnt about several tragic cases where young people, one of whom has just come out of university, have been diagnosed with this terrible disease and have been told it is incurable.Some sufferers, once diagnosed, are left with no hope. My reason for taking part in this walk is to help raise as much money as possible to fund further research into finding a cure for all brain tumours and give hope to all those affected.
