My Story

Unfortunately cancer is an all too familiar storey. Most people know / knew someone with cancer. There are so many different storeys of loss, survival and victory. In my life the most inspiring storey is of my grandmother being treated for breast cancer in her sixties and living up to the remarkable age of 101 years! Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. Only with continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work. Join me in this effort by thinking of those with cancer and us here in the UK walking the walk to raise funds. 42k's under the London night skies for all those close to my heart!
