I've lost quite a few people to cancer, but I want to show myself I can do anything I put my mind to.

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. I'm glad to be able to help people who need the support. I want to do all I can to help beat cancer quicker and stop anyone else losing someone they love. I have also been on my own fitness development journey. I am attempting to complete this 10K as a way to help my fitness and support a good cause.

Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
