My Story
I’m raising money for cancer research in loving memory of my mum Margaret, who we sadly lost at the age of 55. She was an incredible person who brought so much love, strength, and kindness into the world, and she is deeply missed every single day. Through this fundraiser, I hope to honour her memory and help support the vital research that brings hope to families facing cancer. Every donation, big or small, helps make a difference and brings us one step closer to better treatments and cures. Thank you for helping me celebrate her life and continue the fight against cancer. 💓
CAUSE
Lung cancer
Each year more than 43,500 people are diagnosed with lung cancer in the UK. We urgently need to drive progress so that more people survive their disease. Cancer Research UK is at the forefront in lung cancer research and is funding various projects to tackle the disease head on. This includes the TRACERx study, Cancer Research UK’s largest investment into lung cancer to date. This study has already transformed our understanding of how lung cancer evolves and is continuing to shed light on how to prevent, detect and treat the disease.
