Mirella's Race for Life
Margate 5k 2018
Sun 15 Jul 2018
I used to do Race for Life every year and then I got cancer. My cancer was found early thanks to UK screening program and I received the best possible care at the Royal Marsden. I was lucky, my cancer was found early and wasn't very aggressive but I know it can come back at any time even with my daily dose of Tamoxifen. Others are not as fortunate as I have been. Even with living with the after effects of treatment, I'm still here kickin ass and grateful for every day x Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.
