We, the Pink Sari Brigade 2019 are taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer sooner.

My Story
Mina, Kripa, Uzma, Anju, Rashmi, Rashi, Varsha & Aruna walked this year for many friends; included were: Mamatha & Elsie who fought; Indra, Neela and Pav who are still fighting - we marvel at their strength and are humbled by their courage. Cancer is happening right now, which is why we took part in a Race for Life 5k across countryside, in a sari to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so any donations are gratefully received.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
