My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This January I’m taking on Dryathlon® and raising money for Cancer Research UK. I’ll be ditching the drink for one month to help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Please dig deep and donate now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK. On November 11th 2015 I was diagnosed with lung cancer, after quite a tough year with both Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy I'm not totally out of the woods yet. I'm in far better nick than I was this time last year. All thanks to Cancer Research and the excellent service of the NHS. If anyone thinks this challenge is too easy to achieve, please think again. I have "a few beers" every single day. Am I an alcoholic? Nah....an alcoholic drinks every day and wants to talk about their habit to someone....I drink every day and love it, I'm just a drunkard! Many, many thanks for your donations.
