My Story
Dear family, friends and colleagues, I have decided that I’m going to do something a bit crazy for me in September. Throughout the month of September, I’m going to cycle 300 miles for Cancer Research UK, equivalent to cycling from my home in Sandhurst to Newcastle. I’m not a highly experienced cyclist, so I see this as a real personal challenge, but I’m confident I can achieve this goal. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
