I'm raising as much as I can in memory of my Grandad.

My Story
I am running the Devil Mud Run alongside my boyfriend, which is a 9k off-road course. Which is set on a hillside, with various inclines and declines as well as a combination of 31 man-made and natural obstacles. This event was due to take place during March however due to inclement weather this now all takes place on Sunday 16th September 2018. This is in memory of my Grandad, who sadly passed away at the beginning of this year. My Grandad was always strong and carried on no matter what, he fought for 19 years as a diabetic, he was sadly diagnosed with cancer which he bravely battled with for over 12 years. He was then diagnosed with chronic kidney disease for the last 5 years, and several brain tumours over 3 years. My Grandad still fought back, day after day. I am raising money for Cancer Research UK in memory of my Grandad and to give back to them for all the help, support and treatment which he received, Cancer Research UK was also a charity which was always close to his heart.
