Walkin & kick cancer outta the way
Raise money for CRUK once more, this time, in memory of my dad & grandad who both passed away from a genetic colorectal cancer. I'm on the path to becoming a cancer researcher, while the loss remains.
In memory of
My dad and grandad and everyone I have lost to this horrible disease.

My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I’m going to be taking on Walk All Over Cancer this March to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. I’m fundraising for Cancer Research UK in honour of my dad and grandad, and to support the work that helps families affected by cancer. I'm doing the 31 miles (or more) every day of March, with family posted updates of walked distance, and raise as much as I can, although my target is £1,000. I’m also taking part in the British Heart Foundation walk, but this page is separate and dedicated to cancer research because it’s personal to me. As an autistic person, I sometimes find it hard to put things into words, but this cause means a lot. Losing and supporting family through illness changes you, and it’s one of the reasons I want to become a cancer researcher in the near future, ever since I was 11 years of age — to help make a difference for others, so they don't suffer like my family has. I’ve started this page to raise money, awareness, and to do something positive in their honour. If you’re able to donate or share, I’d really appreciate it. Thank you for your support 💛 I also set up a just giving page here if you’d prefer to donate that way. https://www.justgiving.com/page/milas-cancer-researcher-in-memory

All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
