Mikes Longest Day Challenge 2024

Thanks for visiting my Just Giving page! I am thrilled to invite you to join me in supporting Cancer Research UK through my participation in the Longest Day Motorcycle Challenge. This fundraiser is more than just a ride; it's a journey of hope, determination, and solidarity to those affected by cancer. Why the Longest Day Challenge? Cancer doesn't rest, and neither do we. On the longest day of the year, we leave Lands End with the aim of making John O'Groats within 24 Hours, on (Very) Inappropriate bikes worth no more than £600 whilst avoiding all motorways, symbolising the endurance and strength required in the fight against cancer. As riders, we're rallying together to tackle our own endurance challenge, riding from dawn, through dusk, into the night and then into dawn again to mirror the strength and determination shown by those fighting cancer every day. By participating in this challenge, we are raising crucial funds for Cancer Research UK, an organisation leading the charge against cancer through ground-breaking research and support services. Your donations will directly contribute to their efforts to save lives and improve treatments for cancer patients up and down the UK. Every mile we ride, every donation we receive, brings us closer to a world where cancer is becomes less of a threat. Your support means everything to us.
