My Story
Sophie and i are walking the Southanpton 10k night walk in memory of our loved ones. i myself lost my mother suddenly and unexpectantly to cancer and no sooner was it diagnosed that we sadly lost her. Sophie lost her Nan to a complete takeover of cancer just like my mum. sadly whilst cured initially her nan then got secondary cancer which let to her passing. Cancer Research is a fantastic charity and we both want to do our bit to raise money, raise awareness and remember our loved ones as we look up to the twinkling city skyline knowing they will be looking down on us, remembering us also.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
