I’m taking on L2B to raise funds to help CRUK beat Breast Cancer in memory of my beautiful wife and soulmate Cazi

In memory of

Cazi

My Story

Breast Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m raising money right now for Cancer Research UK in memory of my beautiful wife and soulmate Cazi, who lost her battle with secondary Breast Cancer in 2013, and for other friends who have also been touched by Cancer. This year Cazi and I would have been celebrating our twentieth Wedding Anniversary if it wasn't for Cancer so I am determined to do all I can to support CRUK in its quest to beat Cancer. Cazi never let her illness stop her living life to the full, she was so beautiful with a bubbly personality and was always there to help anyone, its her inspirational and determined spirit not to let Cancer win that drives me on to continue to support CRUK so that together we can bring forward the day when we beat Breast Cancer once and for all. With your support we will beat Breast Cancer so please help me to continue to build a lasting legacy in Cazi's name by donating to my fundraising page. After having completed five CRUK Shine Night Marathons over the last 5 years I decided it was time to try a new challenge so this year I am taking on the 100k London 2 Brighton Ultra Marathon, along with my friend Ellie who has taken on the last few Shine Marathons with me. Ellie's family have also been touched by Cancer so we have a shared passion to help beat this cruel disease, we will be setting off from Richmond Park London at 8am Saturday 25th May 2019 and hope to cross the finish line at Brighton early Sunday morning!!!! Please donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Thanks for your support Mike

CAUSE

Breast cancer

With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
