Part of the Splunk team doing the Thames Bridges Trek, I’m raising as much as I can to beat cancer.
A bunch of us working at Splunk in London have the Opportunity to raise money for Cancer Research UK by taking part in the Thames Bridges Trek - 25km along the river and across a bunch of the bridges. Not quite the London Marathon or climbing Kilimanjaro but there is only so much my knees and back can manage at the moment. Obviously, most people give to charities for their own reasons, and as cancer is very appropriate for me right now this opportunity seemed very appropriate, so any contribution, no matter how small, is very, very welcome.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
