We are raising as much as we can to beat cancer by travelling to 1000 miles to Copenhagen!
For the duration of Lent term (9 weeks), the 9 members of the Lancaster University Cancer Research Society exec committee are attempting to move 1000 miles, the distance it would take to get to Copenhagen from the University! I've set myself the personal mission of running 100 of these miles, as it forces me to get active! Thank you in advance for any donations that you are able to give, they are for such a worthy cause and even a little goes a long way! Childhood cancer
Each year, around 1,500 children are diagnosed with cancer in the UK. Thanks to major advances in research, around three-quarters of children with cancer now survive. Help Cancer Research UK discover better and kinder treatments for all cancers and to continue to improve overall survival for childhood cancer.
