My Story

This year Midtherm Laser will be fundraising for Cancer Research UK and have come up with the idea of doing a ‘Head Shave event’. On Wednesday the 13th November, members of our team have volunteered to take part to raise awareness and be Brave enough to step into the chair. In Memory of David Hulme and Others Affected by Cancer Earlier this year, we lost our driver and friend, David Hulme, to cancer. Dave (or "Dave’y Hat" as we called him) was with us for 11 years, and we’re all going to miss him more than words can express. He brought warmth, kindness, and a quiet strength to everything he did, and his absence is deeply felt. But Dave isn’t the only person in our lives who has been impacted by cancer. Many of us at Midtherm Laser have family members and friends, who are currently fighting this disease, or who have lost their battle with it and they are very much in our thoughts as we work to raise money for cancer research. In addition to the memory bench we’ve dedicated to Dave, we want to take action by raising funds to support the search for a cure. It’s our way of honoring not just Dave, but all those affected by cancer, and showing our support to anyone facing this fight. Every donation makes a difference, no matter the size.
