Michelle's Very 2020 Race for Life

Our Story In March 2020 my friend and I put on our trainers and started running. At first we couldn't run a mile without stopping but since then we've managed to complete some virtual races including a 5K run, 10K run, Great North Solo run and the Virtual Great North Run!!! For the six month running milestone our next challenge is the Very 2020 Race for Life on Saturday 26th September. This would usually be a 5K race but for this virtual event we are going to double the distance and run 10K (wearing plenty of pink of course). From first putting on our trainers to pushing through barriers and finishing so many challenges in a short time, it has been such a personal achievement. But, we would also like to raise as much as we can to support this amazing charity. Cancer is something so many people have been affected by and charities such as Cancer Research UK need our support. We know there are a lot of virtual events and fundraising pages but if you can donate anything at all to support this charity (and keep us pushing through these challenges) it would be amazing!
