Poole Pretty Muddy 5k 2019

Sat 15 Jun 2019 - Sat 15 Jun 2019

I'm taking on Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money to beat cancer sooner! Together we can beat this, together we are stronger!

My Story

As have most people, I have friends and family who have fought cancer and won, some are are still fighting everyday and very sadly many have lost and are greatly, sorely missed. Together we need to turn these odds around and learn how to beat this horrible, merciless disease once and for all. To bring our children and their children up in a world where cancer is treatable and no longer life threatening would be a fantastic achievement for our generation. Cancer, like a lot of diseases is uncompromising and unprejudiced. It doesn’t matter if you’re a mum, dad, daughter, son, wife or husband, completely alone or depended on by many, and the types, causes, survival rates and treatment plans vary tremendously. I want to raise money to help every single person fighting, living with or coming to terms with the loss of a loved one to this terrible disease. Together we are stronger, together we can beat this! 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please if you can sponsor me today.
