My Mum
Anyone who knows me, knows that even walking to the station is a rare occurrence. So running?! Well, this will be a challenge.... In all seriousness, my reason for taking past in this race is too many people are losing their lives everyday to this awful disease. I have personally been affected by the heartache that comes with losing someone special. In 2008, my Mum sadly lost her battle. Taking part in this race for life is in honour of her, and the many other people who have tragically lost their lives, or who are currently fighting.
