My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. Unfortunately cancer has affected the lives of our family, loved ones and dear friends, some very sadly lost the battled but gave it their best fight and thankfully some kick cancers butt... Let's try and do our best to raise funds to help with cancer research and together try and kick cancers arse once and for all... 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
