For My brother David Ketley
In memory of
David Ketley
One year ago my brother was diagnosed with terminal thyroid cancer, my world imploded at the reality of the news, but he fought it head on, he surrounded himself with his family (and cake) and he wouldn’t give up. After radiotherapy, a major operation and further treatment he showed signs of improvement and was even given an improved prognosis, so on 3rd August when he was so cruelly taken from us, a light in my life went out. Losing him continues to be the hardest ordeal I have ever had to face. I am proud to be running in his memory, with his beautiful family. As he was undergoing treatment, last year he joined our race via face time, this year I know he will be silently running along by our side. We hope to raise as much money as possible to support those who find themselves in similar situations. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
