In memory of
Emily Cook
Kayla and I wanted to help raise money for cancer research in memory of beautiful Emily who very sadly lost her battle in March.. Emily, aged only 12, was so brave and fought so hard and was a true inspiration.! I know her whole family and all of her friends and everyone who supported her and raised money for her to do lots of amazing things, are all so very proud of her.. she will always be remembered for the beautiful and courageous fighter that she was.. So, we only decided on 3rd April to join in the race for life, which means we only have 2 months to get fit enough to run 5k.. I'm sure for Kayla this will be "easy peasy" (her words ?) Only being 9 years old, however, for me.. un-fit, over weight, 30+ and can't even run to my car ??? not so easy peasy.. but I have no doubt, knowing why we're doing it and who we're doing if for, will make us do our very best.. so please please pretty please can anybody sponsor us and help us raise as much money for Cancer Research Uk as we can.. If we can help to hopefully one day find a cure for this disgusting disease then we have to try.. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor us now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
