My lovely Dad fought bravely but lost his fight against Cancer aged just 47 years old in May 1992. I run the Race for Life every year to raise money to help ensure others don't have to go through what my Dad did. He never got to meet any of his grandchildren or see me become an adult, a wife or a mum. I miss him like crazy! Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
