Cancer....No one likes the sound of that word. And when it is heard alongside the name of a family member, friend or anyone close to you; it haunts you. Unfortunately I know a lot of people that have been affected by cancer. My Grandad, Aunty, Cousin and friends of our family. All of whom, at this time I'm pleased to say, have beaten the awful disease. It is with the deepest of sadness though, I will be dedicating this run again to Chris, who sadly passed away March last year. Not a day goes by we do not think of him and miss him xxx Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
