My Story
I'm hiking the Cotswolds Half Marathon on July 12th for Cancer Research UK — and I’d love your support. This isn’t just a walk for me — it’s a step forward for the many lives touched by cancer, including my own friends, family, and the clients I support every day. As the founder of TPOT, an education company helping therapists confidently care for clients living with and beyond cancer, and as an integrative health and wellness consultant and clinical practitioner, I work to improve workplace provisions for those with compromised health and support individuals in my local community struggling with chronic dis-ease. Many of the clients I see are navigating complex trauma, associated anxiety, and PTSD — often rooted in long-term illness and loss. Through these roles, I see the impact of cancer from many angles. Research has already changed lives — but what excites me most is what’s ahead. We’re on the cusp of something extraordinary: the fusion of advancing tech and AI with truly person-centered, prescriptive care… and a growing body of evidence finally catching up to ancient wisdom traditions and the importance of integration. It's a future where treatment is more tailored, more holistic, and more effective — for everyone. But none of this possibility becomes reality without research, without investment, without people like us showing up and saying yes. So I’m walking — for those we’ve lost, for those still navigating treatment and recovery, and for a future where cancer is no longer a life sentence. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. Please give what you can — and thank you for walking with me in spirit.
