My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. On 21st dec i was diagnosed with hodgkins lymphoma and underwent a number of chemotherapy treatments radiotherapy and stem cell transplant over a period of about 2 half to 3 years. In the summer of 2009 i was given roughly 6months. In the summer of 2010 i was given the all clear and to this day remain cancer free. This would not of been possible if people like you and me didn't donate to the wonderful work that the researchers do and thats why i feel its my duty to give back in anyway i can Donating funds is a great way to help but there are other ways too,one of which is bone marrow transplant and another is blood donation both help save lives as much as monetary donations so please help any way is best for you as all donations are welcome in any form
