Thank you for visiting my Fundraising Page. The money we raise will help fund life-saving research and to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Cancer affects so many peoples' lives, like many of you I have love ones who have been diagnosed with cancer. My Nan was diagnosed with skin cancer and fortunately she is now in remission. My Granddad was diagnosed with blood cancer and he is still fighting it. My Great-Auntie is currently in remission after being diagnosed with lung cancer. Unfortunately her husband, my Great-Uncle passed away in February 2020 from skin cancer. Cancer Research UK are fighting to beat cancer, so for my Nan and Great-Auntie who fought cancer, my Granddad who is fighting cancer and my Great Uncle who lost his battle with cancer I am raising money for Cancer Research UK to help them in them in their fight. I am going to run 1744km (1084miles) in one year, starting on my 29th Birthday (27th July 2020) and finishing on my 30th Birthday. This is the distance from Land's End to John O'Groats. I will need help from all of you staying motivated in this. You can help by donating money, sharing my page or joining me. If you want to join me please let me know and I can share your story along side mine as we do this together. I want to raise £1744 (one pound for every km) to help reach this I am going to be donating £30 a month through the challenge. If any of you could do something similar (large or small) I am sure we will reach this goal together! Keep an eye out for my updates I will be posting, and share them if you can.
