In memory of
My Mum
I’ve been thinking about doing something in remembrance of my Mum who battled with lung and then brain cancer some years ago and I’ve always celebrated and remembered her life lived with my sisters and family with fondness and affection. I’ve been reluctant to fundraise as I feel a little cheeky asking when people struggle financially but felt compelled to do this after reading how a friend who is battling brain cancer has had to fundraise for treatment abroad. It’s made me realise how we need to raise as much money for research so that we can offer treatment in this country and maybe work towards a cure or even prolong life for just a day longer on this earth for those battling cancer. So any little contribution no matter how small - will be so thankfully appreciated on behalf of all the cancer charities. It’s the act of giving which is important. ❤️
CAUSE
Brain cancer
Each year in the UK, more than 9,400 people are diagnosed with tumours that start in the brain or elsewhere in the central nervous system. With more than 100 different types of brain tumour, donations can help Cancer Research UK find out what causes them and develop better treatments to improve the outlook for patients.
