My Story
The reason I am doing the shine night walk is in honour of my Dad and Grandad. In 2014 we got the news that my Grandad had terminal cancer, by time the hospital had found the cancer it had already spread from what they thought was his lungs to his brain. We were told the deviating news that Grandad only had 5 weeks to live. A month or so after we had lost Grandad we then had the news that my Dad had terminal cancer. My dad put up the most amazing fight to try and beat cancer for as long as he could after around 6 months he to lost his fight against this horrible illness. 2014 was the worst year and I want to try and raise as much money as I can to help others beat cancer!! please donate as little or as much as you can to help the fight. thank you. Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there.
