My Story

Welcome to My "Run Every Day" Challenge GoFundMe Page! Hello everyone, and thank you for visiting my fundraising page! This year, I've set myself an ambitious goal: to run 5 kilometers every single day. As of this morning, I've kept up with my daily runs, and I even set my fastest time of the year today! 🏃‍♂️🎉 While 5 kilometers might seem modest to some, the real challenge lies in the consistency—running every day no matter the weather conditions: wind, rain, shine, or snow. My virtual journey on foot is equivalent to a grand tour connecting various locations: starting from Rhenus Newton Aycliffe branch, moving through Bradford, Manchester, Cannock, Hinckley, Corby, Bristol, Maldon, crossing over to Venlo in Holland, then to Hilden in Germany, and finally ending in Dietzenbach, Germany. That's a total of 1830 kilometers or 1144 miles! 🗓️ Key Virtual Tour Dates: 26th March: Passing Corby 16th May: Reaching Bristol 16th July: Passing Maldon 3rd November: Entering Venlo 18th November: Arriving at Hilden 31st December: Ending the journey in Dietzenbach I aim to raise £1 for each kilometer run, totalling £1830. This amount symbolizes not just the physical distance, but also a commitment to a cause very dear to me. Why I'm Doing This: Cancer Research is not only a charity supported by Rhenus but also one close to my heart. This Christmas will mark 21 years since my own battle with testicular cancer. The support I received from Cancer Research was crucial during that difficult time, and their ongoing work continues to save lives and bring hope to many. Your donation can help make a difference!
