Thank you for visiting my Fundraising Page. Cancer is horrible and me and my family know how it feels to lose somebody we love from the disease and how it feels to see somebody fight against the cancer and survive. Back in 2018 it was estimated that 17.0 million people had been told that they had cancer and 9.5 million people died because of cancer. This means that 7.4 million people survived. This is extremely good considering the amount of deaths over the last couple of years. Cancer research UK help lots of people and there family's and they also try and find the life saving medication and cures for cancer. Thanks to the amount of research over the years and all of the donations to cancer research UK many cancer victims have survived. I know how it feels to lose somebody in my family to cancer and I know that it is horrible but thanks to cancer research UK a lot of family's won't have to go through what I have been through because of the amount of donations they are getting to help find a cure for cancer. I am doing this sponsord walk with my friends in memory of my grandad who I sadly lost back in 2013 to cancer plus for my dad who has very recently kicked cancers backside, I want to raise as much money as I possibly can to make my grandad and dad proud and so we can all help beat cancer sooner and find the life saving medication and cures for cancer. If I can raise £200.00 this will help to fund postdoc researchers train in the labs with scientists.
