My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I’m dipping 24 times this Christmas to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. This time last year I was diagnosed with bilateral breast cancer, 12 months on I am in remission! Words cannot describe how lucky I feel and how grateful I am every day to the NHS for not only the world class treatment I received but the kindness shown to be by countless NHS staff. My treatment plan included surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and hormone therapy. This treatment pathway was tailored to my individual diagnosis and this was only made possible by the remarkable work carried out by research scientists into cancer all over the world. I would love to be able to give something back to these incredible people who are so dedicated to beating this disease and contribute in some small way to making getting “the all clear” something everyone diagnosed with cancer gets to hear.
