My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This February, I’m running (maybe walking!!) 56 miles to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. I was diagnosed with oropharyngeal cancer (in my tonsil) in March 2021. Treatment was brutal - surgery, chemo and radiotherapy- but incredible, and here I am, 11 months later, able to go out and do this challenge - even if I am walking a lot of it! I’m six months post treatment and I’m slowly building my strength up. I probably won’t be able to run every day but I will get out and walk, and j will complete the 56 miles any which way I can! Please sponsor me. Anyone can be affected by cancer at anytime, and it really is a life-changing illness. But the treatments available are incredible, and any money to keep funding the research is always welcome.

With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
