My Story

I'm an oncology nurse of Tunbridge Wells Hospital, in my everyday work life, I see and witness the journey of our dear patients against cancer. I see how their lives was turned upside down, their families become affected and how much battle they go through in their day to day lives. According to research, 1 out of 3 people will have cancer and will go through this same journey in our lifetime. Whilst I'm still cancer-free, I'd like to support Cancer Research with their amazing dedication on finding new treatments to eradicate cancer. This is only possible with people supporting endless research. Cancer treatments are continously evolving, new drugs like monoclonal antibodies and immunotherapies are added to patient treatments alongside chemotherapy drugs which promotes better outcome. I help and treat cancer patients everyday, it's a privilege to be able to make a difference in my patients lives and make this difficult journey a little easier whilst supporting them.
