My Story
Thank you for visiting our Fundraising Page. The money we raise will help fund life-saving research and bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. We have both been diagnosed with cancer (bowel and blood cancer), are currently receiving chemotherapy treatment and are determined to beat this disease. In July we are going to walk the 20 mile Brighouse boundary walk. This might not seem a long way but for us, at the moment it’s quite a challenge. We are doing this to raise money for this worthy cause and we hope you can help us to achieve our goal of £250. We’ll keep you updated along the way. Much love Mel and Julie.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
