Melissa's Race for Life

At the end of 2020 my best friend of 20 years was diagnosed with triple positive breast cancer and to this day I still can’t believe it has happened to her. I always knew that Tabby is a strong person and has a good head on her shoulders. However what I didn’t know is how unbelievably amazing her mindset is and how she has handled everything that has been thrown at her. She always tells me “but I have had to deal with it there was no other option” and them words in itself tells you how strong she is. Throughout tabby’s journey, whilst she has been dealing with her diagnosis/ treatment (which she is so nearly done YAY) Tabby has been inspiring people on a daily basis, people with breast cancer and also people without. Myself and tabby are doing this raise for life to raise money for this horrible illness and also to raise awareness of breast cancer in young age.
