My Story
Safe to say I’ve never challenged myself to do anything like this before now, and some will say it’s not really a challenge....... but for me, this is a big deal - And not just because I am very unfit! (Needless to say I won’t be attempting any records!) There I was thinking what a tough and negative year I’ve had - everything just seemed to be against me. Then something happened and reminded me of the fact, that people are fighting life changing battles everyday that they only wish they could change, and yet just seem to carry on with no real fuss. So I decided it’s time for me to stop moping about and do something worthwhile for an amazing cause, for all those people in my life that have fought and are still fighting! Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
