Melissa's Race in memory of her Dad

We ran last year whilst our Dad was fighting his battle with Thyroid Cancer and this year we are very sadly running in memory of him. He passed away in August 2018 which broke us all and this time we will run to help every other family to hope they never have to go through the pain we have faced and face everyday. He could not make our run last year as he was getting treatment but was there through facetime. This year he is all around us giving us the motivation we need. Dad we are doing this for you again and for every other family and person dealing with this horrible disease and for every person that fought and survived, is still fighting or the people that sadly lost to Cancer. One day I hope this will all be a thing of the past. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
