Melissa is swimming 10k in August

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I’m going to front crawl, breaststroke, backstroke and butterfly my way to 10k in August to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. Please show your support and help fund life-saving research by donating to my page. Cancer seems to run in my family and earlier this year in March, after many years of fighting, we lost my grandpa due to that terrible illness. Now, my cousin and auntie are fighting it too. I try to spread awareness of how soul-crashing and absolutely life ruining cancer can be, not only those who directly suffer from it, but also their families and loved ones. It can affect anyone, at any time. I think this challenge is a very good way to spread awareness and contribute to a great cause.
