In memory of

My mother Dianne Harrison who had stage 4 cancer of the bladder.

10th May 1965 - 6th Nov 2016

My Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This August, I’m jogging 31 miles in the month to help beat cancer. My mother Dianne was diagnosed with cancer of the bladder in July 2016, she had an operation in October 2016 to remove her full bladder, however due to complications after her surgery she died 11 days later in November 2016. From diagnosis to death this was only 4months, you can imagine the suffering and pain we all as a family has endured. Im not asking for much donation, every penny will help. What i do want you to do though is spend a little more time with your mam, pick up the phone, pop in for a cuppa, take her for a meal. Whatever you do just embrace her and soak in the time you get with her. Once she is gone, all you have is memories to carry you through. Make loads of memories, as this is what will help you through the grief and pain. Thank you for reading this. M x
