Friends and family who have lost, won or still fighting the fight against the horrible c word
This year I have decided to take part in the Liverpool light night 10k walk to raise money into the research of children’s cancers. My reasons for participating are personal and I have chosen to do this in memory of friends and family who have won, lost and are still battling their fight against this horrible c word! Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives. Children & Young People
Every day 12 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer in the UK. The good news is that improvements in treatments mean more children and young people are surviving cancer than ever before.
