My Story
This year I have decided to take part in the Liverpool light night 10k walk to raise money into the research of children’s cancers. My reasons for participating are personal and I have chosen to do this in memory of friends and family who have won, lost and are still battling their fight against this horrible c word! Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives. CAUSE
Children's & Young People's Cancers
Cancer in children and young people is different from cancer in adults, both in the types of cancer they develop and the effects of treatment. As a result, it needs a different and dedicated approach. With your support, our researchers can continue to drive progress and transform outcomes for the youngest cancer patients.
