I'm taking part in Race for Life to help fund vital research into new cancer treatments.
My Story
Too many people I know, including my own family, have been affected by cancer. Current treatments are extremely crude, with horrible side effects, and there are too many situations for which there is currently no cure. More research is crucial to make sure that there is always another treatment available for patients to try and to improve the quality of life of people living with cancer.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
