My Story
Breast cancer affects 1:7 women in the U.K. but it affects us all. We have lost loved ones, seen our friends suffer the side effects of treatments, watched their children try to cope. I had 5 months of chemo and a double mastectomy mid February 2022. It was one of the hardest challenges of my life but with the support of friends and family and the amazing NHS I’m disease free. CRUK are working to find pre diagnostic tests, better treatments and improve survival, let’s do what we can to help them.
