Megan's Race for Life
Wakefield Pretty Muddy 5k 2019
Sat 15 Jun 2019 - Sat 15 Jun 2019
In 2012 I did my first race for life event to support my friend, whose Mum had been diagnosed with cancer. Since then my list of reasons why I do these events has grown to include my Uncle Spencer, cousin Alice and Mum. Thanks to the research Cancer Research does Alice and my Mum are standing strong today. Unfortunately, after many years of battling my Uncle lost his fight. I’ve seen first hand what this disease does, how it doesn’t discriminate and the devastating effects it has. Cancer is cruel, merciless and vicious and is something which we must keep trying to beat. These are just some of the reasons why Cancer Research is a charity very close to my heart, so please if you can spare any change sponsor me and Jamie in our 5K pretty Muddy run. Any sponsorship will be greatly appreciated ❤️
