Megan's Race for Life

Cancer has affected me and my family in many different ways over the years. We have experienced first hand that cancer does not discriminate based on age, gender or lifestyle. My cousin was just 3 years old when she was diagnosed with ALL, but thankfully after 2 years of treatment she in the clear. Sadly my Uncle was not so lucky and after an 8 year battle with cancer he lost his life to this terrible disease last year. We started this year in the hopes that it would be a year in which we did not have to worry about cancer. Unfortunately, that was not the case as my Mum was diagnosed with uterine cancer. However, things are looking positive after her surgery and she’s recently been given the all clear. Please support me in raising as much money as possible against a disease which affects so many.
