My Story

Thank you in advance to anyone who is able to donate a small amount to Cancer research using my fundraising page. I've done the race for life every year for the last 6 years - this year I'm pushing myself to do a 10k - having not moved too far from the couch since March 2020 and had a baby since then it's going to be a real challenge for me!! 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
