I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer sooner. For my nanny❤️ everyone fighting ❤️ lost their battle to cancer ❤️

My Story

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. This charity is so close to the hearts of our family. Our nan was diagnosed with Small Cell Lung Cancer, one of the most aggressive types of cancer, in January 2017, and has continuously fought hard to beat this disease. Unfortunately, in recent months, we have been told that the cancer has now spread to her kidney, and despite many hospital admissions, she has remained in high spirits. We are awaiting results from scans as to what steps can be taken next. We want to raise more awareness of this horrible disease and do our bit to recognise the wonderful staff, hospitals and doctors who have helped not just us, but everyone else who is faced with the challenges cancer throws. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Thank you for reading, and thank you for your kind donations! xx
