Megan's Race for Life

In loving memory of the most kind, caring and loving mum I could ever wish for. Taken far too soon at the age of 55 from this cruel, unforgiving disease. Love You Mum, always in our hearts. My mum was taken to hospital in December 2018, with what we first thought was appendicitis. However, we soon began to learn that this was not the case and shortly after she had been diagnosed with cancer of the appendix, An extremely rare and fast spreading form of cancer. Mum put up a fight over the last few months, and was much braver and stronger than she gave her self credit for. Sadly, on 20th February 2019 mum passed away in the palliative care unit at the Northern General Hospital in Sheffield. Me and all the family are truly heartbroken and devastated. I've never experienced pain and heartbreak like this. My aim is to now, live my mum's life for her and do her proud every single day. This will be a small token of remembrance for my mum. This evil disease is very much out there and is taking over innocent people and their families lives.
