LETS KICK CANCERS BUTT!!! Race for life is a series of fundraising events organised by cancer research. The money raised helps cancer research in all 200 types of cancer. Every two minutes, someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer. Our support, through events like the Race for Life, is what helps them continue there ground-breaking work to see more people surviving cancer. £5 kits out one of there ground-breaking research labs with essential chemicals - the bread and butter of day-to-day experiments, helping to beat cancer sooner. £20 buys a new bulb for there microscopes, illuminating minute details of cancer cells. £50 buys special restriction enzymes that work like molecular scissors to cut up the long strands of DNA in our cells. Every step we make towards beating cancer relies on every pound donated. Cancer research fund scientists, doctors and nurses to help beat cancer sooner. They can’t do this without our help and donations. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
