I’ve always wanted to do something like the race for life. I’ve always wanted to be able to make an impact whether it was big or small. Cancer is such a horrific thing and to be able to give something back to researchers and doctors etc, spending day in and day out helping families through the hardest of times. Their time and effort is precious to us all and to fundraise for them is such a rewarding thing!

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
